TO the church FROM the church: Words of Testimony from the People at Peace Portal

Testimony Picture

FREEDOM!   The more I yield my life to God and His direction of my life, the greater sense of freedom I experience.  Finances may never have been together, but God’s provision is all that I need – Jehovah Jira.  There is nothing more satisfying than casting all my anxieties upon Him because He cares for me.   Praise be to God who has raised me from the pit and put my feet on solid rock.

From depression to joy.

God’s love has been shown to me through children whose sufferings are great, yet experience His simple, pure love.

There is hope for the broken even though breaking makes you feel hopeless.  There is restoration.

As a guest, I have felt extremely welcomed.  You as a community have blessed me today.  You know and exemplify that you are God’s children – being Jesus!  Thanks.

God is so faithful to keep us and protect us.  Jesus is the author and the finisher of our salvation.  Being confident of this – that He (Jesus) which has begun a good work in you shall perform it until the day of His return.  Praise You Jesus!!!

God of emptiness; God of fulfillness; God of sadness;  God of happiness; God of forgiveness; God of restoration; God of liberty; God of confusion; God of clarity; God of seasons; God of silence; God of noise.

Be still and know that I am God.  God will give us the ability to go through the tough times.  You just need to give him the opportunity to show you He is with you.

I’m thankful that God is a generous God.  I’m thankful that God has given us a church with leaders with a sincere desire to follow Him.  I’m thankful for great  Sunday School leaders.  I’m thankful for a “mission minded” church.

Praise God for His provision.  He comes through in the darkest times and those times we feel like we can’t go on.  Praise God for the ministry of His church and how He uses the foolish and weak for His wonderful plan.  Praise God!!!  I Love You!!!  God is good.

For answers to prayer to bring a lost relative to the church.

Through Jesus I can experience His grace, mercy, stability, encouragement and forgiveness everyday.  Hallelujah!

I have been suffering through a flare-up of my MS, but I have been sustained through the prayers of my Bible study group and my friends.  I praise God for His faithfulness and love.

God has been so generous to gift me with a wonderful wife and 3 children who are far more than I deserve.  God has also been generous with our church by giving us a wonderful group of leaders.  Praise Him for His generosity!

“Jesus loves you, this I know”.

Be patient and wait upon the Lord,  as He will guide Your path.

What does God ask of you?  To act justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with God.

God is with us in the difficult times of loss, where in the midst of unexplainable emotional pain, He brings us peace that doesn’t make sense, but brings a calming sense of “it’s going to be OK”.

By praying for some time, God delivered me from alcoholism and anger.  He has been walking powerfully in my life for the last two years.  Praise to our Lord who listens and walks in our lives.

God and His word make sense of a lost and dying world.  In the midst of all we have, the voice can only be filled with Jesus.  I’m thankful for His truth to pass onto my children.  Praise God, for He is good!

When life knocks you down, hit life back by getting back up and carrying on with Jesus’ help.

Jesus is a faithful friend.  He is always there for me.

Whatever hurt and pain we may have experienced from our human fathers and mothers, God our father has chosen us to be a part of his family.  He loves us, forgives us and will never leave us.

I am thankful for the fact that as Christians we are never alone.  Jesus forgives our selfish ways.  He restores us; He walks with us; He is an inspiration; He is our direction; He supplies all our needs.  He calls us to love and obey Him and to put Him first in all our relationships.  PTL!
