Local & Global Engagement

Local & Global Engagement

We are committed to demonstrating the generous love of God in our neighbourhoods and globally through structured involvement in prioritized community services as well as church based outreach programs.

Coldest Night of the Year

Join us on February 24th for Coldest Night of the Year at Cloverdale Community Kitchen (5337 180 St Surrey) where we will walk 2km or 5km together. The funds we raise will support the meal ministry we partner with at CCK. Click on this link to donate or to sign up and join the Peace Portal team. Meet at Cloverdale Community Kitchen at 4pm to check-in. After the walk there will be a light meal served and you will be headed back home by 7pm.

ESL Friendship Club

The ESL Friendship Club is for people of all ethnicities who want to learn Canadian culture, improve English skills and make new friends. They meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00am in Classroom 201 on the upper floor.

Nightshift Ministries

NightShift is a Christian charity with whom our church has partnered to help provide for the needy and homeless living within the Whalley area of our city.  Teams of volunteers prepare food and distribute food and clothing to our street friends. A wide variety of skills are needed for this ministry.

Nurturing Hope

This adoption and fostering support group, invites parents on this journey to join us every third Sunday at 5:30pm. Currently, we are only meeting online. This is a faith-based community where we share the joys and sorrows of the journey and support each other through prayer and meaningful conversation. For more information, email us

Peace Portal Uganda

Peace Portal Uganda is a unique partnership between PPAC and Peace Portal Community Church in Mpigi, Uganda. Through our sister church we support a local primary school of over 500 students, 3 homes where students board while attending the school, a monthly medical clinic, and ongoing support to the community.

International Workers

We believe that mission flows out of community. Therefore our highest priority as a church is to raise up, send, and support those from within our community. As well, we partner and support our Christian & Missionary Alliance vocational international workers.
