July 29 - A Regent Lecture with Wesley Hill
Throughout the history of the church, Christians have often wrangled over various doctrines and theological positions. Today, however, it seems more common for Christians to disagree about behavioral matters. The existence of moral disagreement among Christians is an invitation for all of us to think carefully about Christian truth, unity, charity, and judgement. Wesley Hill will discuss several New Testament passages that can help us find a way forward.

Tim Keller’s book ‘Generous Justice’ offers us a thoroughly biblical resource to help us understand God’s heart for justice. It calls us to action that is both practical and profound. Join us this summer as we work through this great book!

August 22 - "Stay With Us": A Spiritual Retreat with a Spiritual Director
Join us as we invite Jesus into our home to “stay with us” just as the early disciples did on the Road to Emmaus. We will listen to Jesus through this passage from the Gospel of Luke while reflecting on a beautiful piece of sacred art. We’ll begin all together online, then be given guidance in moving to a time of private retreat. We will come back together after retreating for an enriching time of sharing in smaller groups.

Meals on Wheels Drivers
Drivers needed Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Commitment is from 5:00 – 6:30 pm on your assigned day.

Blood donations are harder to come by during this COVID season and the summer season. Help serve our community by donating blood this summer!

Hamper Distribution
We are continuing to partner with the City Dream Centre by distributing hampers on the following Saturday mornings to those in our community in need of food. Contact Jon at jonl@peaceportalalliance.com to sign up and join the team!
